Hi! I’m Gemma the heart behind Gemma Wythe Photography.
I'm a Suffolk wedding and family photographer based in Ipswich, creating natural, storytelling photography for couples, families and growing families across Suffolk and beyond. For me, photography is about so much more than beautiful images – it's about preserving the genuine moments, connections and emotions that make your story uniquely yours.
I fell in love with photography because of the way it allows us to hold onto life's most meaningful memories. Whether it's the excitement of a wedding morning, the quiet anticipation of pregnancy, the tiny details of a newborn, or the beautiful chaos of family life, these are the moments that deserve to be remembered.
My approach is relaxed, unobtrusive and connection-led. I believe the most meaningful photographs happen when you're fully present in the moment, not worrying about the camera. From happy tears and heartfelt vows to cuddles on the sofa and sandy toes at the beach, I'll gently guide when needed while allowing plenty of space for authentic moments to unfold naturally.
